My yoga practice began in 2001. Since then I have discovered that practicing postures not only strengthens your body but helps focus your mind and discover new things about yourself (ie)- I can open my heart a bit more? Wow my hips really do have a story to tell! Recognizing these ah ha! moments makes for a very intriguing practice.
As an entrepreneur with a sales consulting business in the Telecommunications Industry for the last decade, I consistently seek balance between business and health, mental growth, expansion and spirituality. Spending 8-10 hour days ‘connected’ to the wireless markets worldwide, Yoga provides a “re-connect’ with the Self. Yoga practice is the idea that assists in defining my higher purpose, effectiveness, core values, strengths, weaknesses and new growth efforts on many different levels. As it’s very important to stay connected in today’s wireless world, it’s equally if not more important to remain connected to the mind, body and spirit.
Yoga is a process not a destination- building a practice of courage, strength and love one chatarunga at a time. Namaste~
