*I've never done yoga before, what class should I go to first?
We want you to feel comfortable coming to any class at the yoga studio. However, if you want to go at a slower pace, start with a beginner class. If you decide to come to a regularly paced class, just let the instructor know that you are a beginner and they will offer modifications. We urge everyone to go at his or her own pace, and we hope that you feel comfortable doing so.
*What do I wear to a yoga class?
You will want to wear clothing that will keep you cool as you might work up a sweat. Most importantly you need to wear a shirt or top that is fairly form fitting so that the shirt does not come up over your head in forward bend or downward dog.
*What else do I need to bring?
We have mats for you to use (or you can buy one at the studio), but you will need to bring water and a smile :)
*How much are the classes and do I need to sign up?
As a newcomer to the studio you can come to one week of unlimited yoga for $20 (drop in for one class is $15). You do not need to sign up in advance for classes but you will want to come at least 10 minutes early to sign a waiver and pay for class.
